New 6-week Iyengar Yoga Series Begins Wed., May 20 in Arden, DE

A 6-week introductory level Iyengar yoga series will start at the Buzz Ware Village Center in Arden, DE on Wed., May 20 and run through June 24. The class is open to the public. Each class will be 90 minutes long, and run from 5:45 to 7:15 P.M. No prior experience with yoga is required to attend. Props will be available for use. You are welcome to bring your own yoga mat if you have one. RSVP to Robert if you plan to attend (link to 'Contact Information').

Registration is required for the entire series at a cost of $96. Students may register with Robert through the second week of classes on a pro-rated basis. A minimum of 6 people are needed to run the class. Missed classes may be made up on either Monday or Tuesday evenings at select venues in Wilmington where Robert teaches.


'Love, Longing, and Presence: A Dance with God' - Silent Retreat Led by Carolyn Bluemle, Holy Cross Monastery on the Hudson, West Park, New York

Carolyn Bluemle is a dear friend, inspiring teacher, mentor, and talented yogini from Washington, DC. She will lead a silent yoga retreat at Holy Cross Monastery (Episcopal) overlooking the Hudson River on June 3 - 7, 2009. The retreat is limited to 16 participants. Mixed Level Yoga Class Starts June 4 in Newark, DE

A mixed level yoga class starts Thursday evening, June 4 at The Awareness Center in Newark, DE. The class will run 90-minutes from 5:45 - 7:15 PM, and the class series will run 9 weeks through July 30.

Students may attend class on a drop-in basis. A reduced, per class rate is available for those who purchase 4 or more classes in advance. We will cover standing, seated, twisting, and balancing postures, and introduce students to upside poses (e.g. shoulder stand, half-hand stand). For more information, visit

Coming This Fall to The Awareness Center: Restorative Yoga Classes

Robert will teach a restorative yoga class at The Awareness Center in Newark one Friday night per month from September through December. Restorative yoga allows one to practice postures with the support of props to allow for longer holding times, quieting and refreshing the body/mind. They can be modified to accommodate people with physical limitations. Details to follow as Robert establishes his schedule for fall.
